In addition to the points described here, all points outlined in the other supplied product manuals must also be checked.
The decision as to whether the wire rope hoist is in a flawless condition is the sole responsibility of the examiner. If any defects are found, they must be repaired. The examiner decides whether the wire rope hoist needs to undergo inspection again afterwards.
If locally applicable regulations specify further tests, these are likewise to be carried out.
Additionally, at least the following points must be checked:
Inspect the wire rope. See Inspecting the wire rope.

Inspect the ribbed drive belt and tension rollers on the drive. See

Inspect the fixed point crosshead. See Inspecting the fixed point

Inspect the deflection roller crosshead. See Inspecting the deflection

Inspect the cable guide. See Inspecting the cable guide.
Inspect the wire rope attachment on the fixed point crosshead. See Inspecting
the fixed point on the fixed point crosshead (rope socket and rope
wedge).
Inspect the wire rope attachment on the cable drum. The dead end rope
grips (2x) must be installed and must not exhibit any signs of severe
damage.
Inspect the guide rollers. See Inspecting the guide rollers.

Inspect the bolted connection on the flange plates. See Inspecting the bolted

Inspect the bottom block. See Inspecting the bottom block.
Only with spacing buffers: Inspect spacing buffers. See Inspecting the spacing
