The pictures show the procedure on a GM 1000 modular wire rope hoist. The procedure on GM 800 does not differ significantly from this.

   Inspect the spacing buffers. The spacing buffers may not be broken, crushed, bent or damaged in any other way. If they are damaged: Replace the spacing buffers.

   Inspect the rib screws M12x25 (6x). The rib screws must be tightened using 50 Nm.

   Inspect the position. The spacing buffers must be at the same distance to the middle of the main girder.

   If components are missing or damaged: Replace the components.
