Measure the rope wedge protrusion (lower edge of rope wedge to lower
edge of rope socket).
Measure the rope clamp spacing (upper edge of dead end rope grip to
lower edge of rope wedge).
The measured values must not be higher than the values in the
table.

Additional information: The minimum rope clamp spacing specified is always exactly equal to the wire rope diameter of the wire rope hoist.
If the rope wedge protrudes too far out of the rope socket, or if the
dead end rope grip is too close to the rope wedge: replace rope socket and rope
