Inspect the cable guide. The plastic parts must not be cracked, deformed or have abraded areas caused by the wire rope.

   Check the cable guide for ease of movement.

   Check the lubrication of the cable guide.

   If the cable guide is damaged: Replace the cable guide. See Replacing the wire rope.
