Check all the safety buffers. The safety buffers must not be porous, pinched, bent or otherwise damaged.

   Check the material of the safety buffers all the way round. The plastic must not be cracked anywhere on the surface.

   Press the safety buffers with your finger. The safety buffers must be able to be pressed in slightly and be formable.

   If one of the safety buffers is damaged in any way, replace all the safety buffers on the wire rope hoist. See Replacing the safety buffer.

   If one of the safety buffers cannot be pressed in, replace all the safety buffers on the wire rope hoist. See Replacing the safety buffer.
