If the safety buffer is damaged, it must be replaced.
On both sides:

Unscrew the safety buffer.

Screw safety buffers into the buffer
plates. Approx. 30 Nm.
The safety buffer must be in contact with the buffer plate and there must be no gap between them, otherwise the impact will be absorbed by the screw and not by the safety buffer.
