Check the lift-off prevention device for wear and damage.

If the lift-off prevention device is damaged, it must be replaced.

   Test the firm seating of the lift-off prevention device with a light hammer tap.

If the rib screws on the lift-off prevention device are loose, these must be tightened. See Installing the lift-off prevention device.
