Inspecting the fixed point crosshead

 

Only with wire rope hoist with hoist drive GM 800 to GM 3000 with reeving 2/1 or 4/1

On a wire rope hoist with hoist drive GM 800 to GM 3000, the fixed point crosshead is fitted on bearing bushes using bolts and SL safety clips.

Fixed point crosshead

*   Inspect the fastening. The fixed point crosshead must be securely fastened and all bolts must be secured with SL safety clips.

*   Inspect the fixed point crosshead.

The drilled holes and the lower opening must not exhibit any cracking or other damage.

*   Check bearing bushes for damage. The bearing bushes must not exhibit any cracking or other damage.

*   If components are missing or damaged: replace the components.

On a wire rope hoist with hoist drive GM 5000 to GM 7000, the fixed point crosshead is fitted to side panels on the trolley frame on bearing bushings using a laterally inserted bolt with cover.

*   Inspect the fastening. The fixed point crosshead must be securely fastened and the bolt must be secured with a cover.

*   Inspect the fixed point crosshead.

*   Check bearing bushes for damage. The bearing bushes must not exhibit any cracking or other damage.

*   If components are missing or damaged: replace the components.
