In tandem operation, the ABUControl controls of both cranes are wirelessly connected together and mutually transmit the normal operating modes via a radio data transmission module.
The magnetic base antennas of the radio data transmission modules must be positioned on the trolleys depending on the on-site conditions.
On cranes with tandem control system:
The magnetic base antennas of the radio data transmission modules are connected, the connection cables laid and guided out of the panel or prepared for this.

Magnetic base antenna |
Example: magnetic base antenna on trolley frame
─ Mount the magnetic base antennas on the two trolleys in such a way that there is visual contact between them.
─ Depending on the type of crane and trolley, the height of the main girder and the on-site conditions, the magnetic base antenna can, for example, be mounted on the trolley frame or on the end carriage on the other side of the trolley frame so that it points toward the partner crane. The connection cable of the magnetic base antenna is long enough for this and can be guided through the existing installation channels.
─ If necessary, guide the connection cable of the magnetic base antenna out of the panel. See Guiding the connection cables into the cable entry housing, page .
─ Attach the magnetic base antenna so that nothing becomes caught during crane travel or trolley travel.
