Mounting the mobile control

Only with mobile control

 

The mobile control is now inserted in the already installed C-rail.

The pendant control can thus be moved along the crane girder regardless of the position of the trolley.

The mobile control is mounted on the outer side of the crane girder.

Which outer side is intended for the mobile control is specified in the planning documents.

The mobile control is always fastened to the crane girder with its own mounting bracket. This is also true if the crane has both a mobile control as well as a trolley power supply on the C-rail.

If a C-rail for a mobile control is installed together with a VKL conductor system on the same exterior side, the C-rail for the mobile control with the mounting brackets must be installed above the VKL conductor system.

	Control trolley

    First, push the control trolley into the C-rail.

    Then push the cable carriers into the C-rail in the correct order.

 

 

End terminal of the mobile control

    Last of all, push the end terminal into the C-rail.

    Push the end terminal in until it reaches approx. 50 mm before the end of the C-rail.

    Screw the end terminal in place. 36 Nm.

 

 

    Attach the connection cable of the mobile control to the control.

Only with stationary control

This section applies only to a stationary control device. This is especially the case if the crane is controlled with radio remote control and a pendant control is used as a substitute control device.

 

The stationary control is mounted on a short C-rail section next to the crane control. If necessary, the installation of the stationary control can be adapted for the on-site conditions in the building.

Where a control is to be installed is specified in the planning documents.

 

Mounting bracket	Rail mount

    Turn the head nut in the longitudinal direction and lay the mounting brackets (2x) on the profile head from above.

●   The head nut extends into the profile head.

    Screw in the fillister-head screws. 25 Nm.

●   The head nut turns during fixing in the crosswise direction and is clamped tight in the profile head.

    Insert the rail mount (2x) into the mounting bracket.

    Push the rail mount in until it is flush with the outer edge of the mounting bracket.

 

 

Base plate with socket	C-rail

    Shorten the C-rail so that it is the same length as the base plate with socket.

    Insert the C-rails into the rail mount.

    Tighten all rail mounts by hand.

    Push the base plate with socket into the C-rail.

    Screw on the base plate until hand-tight.

 

 

    Attach the connection cable of the stationary control to the control.
