If the wire rope hoist needs to be disposed of:

   Dismantle the wire rope hoist as far as is possible.

   Observe local regulations concerning disposal and recycling.

   Sort the individual parts by material and dispose of them in an environmentally sound manner.

─     Dispose of oil and grease from the gear units as lubricants.

─     Dispose of brake linings as multiple components (hazardous waste).

─     Dispose of electronic components as scrap electronic parts.

─     Dispose of cables, plug-in connections and pendant controls as scrap electronic parts.

─     Dispose of the trolley frame, cable drum, deflection rollers, wire rope and other metal components as metal scrap.

─     Dispose of the housing cover and housing base of the control as plastic waste.

─     Parts of the wire rope hoist that have been repainted must be disposed of in accordance with the paint manufacturer’s specifications.

This product or electrical device may not be disposed of with regular domestic waste at the end of its service life.
