Depending on the crane design, an electrical system housing is now installed, or one of the versions in the following or previous sections.
This section only applies when the jib crane control is placed in an electrical system housing.
|
Malfunction in the event of horizontal installation! If the electrical system housing is installed horizontally, the contactors in the electrical system housing may not switch correctly. This may cause a malfunction. Install the electrical system housing vertically. |
The figures show the installation of an electrical system housing suspended downwards on the trolley power supply side. The installation of an electrical system housing pointing upwards, or an electrical system housing suspended on the other side, is, essentially, no different.

Electrical system housing |
Horizontal square tube |
Lay the horizontal square tube
onto the jib arm so that the trolley power supply cable carrier does not collide
with the electrical system housing.
Screw on the horizontal square
tube with clamping claws. 23 Nm.
Screw the electrical system
housing with threaded bracket onto the vertical square tube.
Push the vertical square tube
with a pipe clamp onto the horizontal square tube.
Screw the pipe clamp tight.
23 Nm.
The figures show the electrical system housing when there is a direct control. Guiding the cables when there is an electrical system housing is, essentially, no different.

Cable ends |
Connection cable |
Push the cable through the cable
bushing.
Insert the cable bushing into
the electrical system housing.
Connect the cables in the
electrical system housing. See the wiring diagram.

Housing cover |
|
Place the housing cover onto the
bottom section of the electrical system housing.
Push the housing cover on until
it clicks into place from above and below.
