An adjustable brake increases the friction resistance by means of a brake lining on the upper wall mount. The friction resistance is adjusted with a screw.

Guidance |
Lay the assembled adjustable brake (state at delivery) on the upper
flange and press the fork with the brake lining against the wall mount.
Screw on the guidance device and fork with hexagon head screws (4x)
and washers (4x). 45 Nm.

Release clamping screw.
Set the desired slewing resistance with the set-screw.
Secure the setting of the set-screw with a lock nut.
