Operating direction sign on the jib tip |
Operating direction sign in the centre of the jib arm |
Rotate the operating direction sign for the slewing direction so that
the black arrow (yellow background) is pointing to the right when viewed from
the slewing axis.
The slewing direction of the jib crane is always viewed from the slewing axis, meaning that it is as if the crane operator has his or her back to the slewing axis and is looking towards the jib tip.
Fasten the operating
direction sign below the jib arm flange.
─ For jib arms up to 5 m: affix the operating direction sign for trolley travel and slewing to the jib tip.
─ For jib arms more than 5 m: affix the operating direction signs for trolley travel and slewing to the jib tip and to the centre of the jib arm.
Connect the crane to the mains supply for testing purposes.
See “General Product Manual for ABUS Cranes”.
Use the pendant control to test the travel direction of the trolley
and the slewing direction of the slewing drive.
See “General Product Manual for ABUS Cranes”.
