Aligning the jib arm

The jib arm must be aligned so that it stops at every point in the slewing range. For this, exclusively the exact plumb-vertical position of the "actual" slewing axis is critical.

*   Place the spirit level on the jib arm.

*   Rotate the jib arm twice by 90°. Do not shift the spirit level while doing this.

●   The spirit level must always retain the same position.

Due to the camber, the spirit level will generally show a slight rise toward the jib tip.

Schaden

Notice of possible damage!

Should a support be required for aligning the crane or compensating the perpendicular plane of the building wall, this can be achieved with metal plates which must then be fastened to the anchor plates. The metal plates are installed over the full area between anchor plate and weld-on plate.
