Danger from falling components! The crane can fall from the lorry and kill or injure people if it is not correctly loaded and secured. Crane transportation and load securing should only be carried out by trained persons. |
Observe the following points amongst others:
Secure the load in
accordance with local regulations.
Place suitable wooden
blocks onto the loading area under the pillar and the jib arm.
Secure the pillar against
rolling away, e.g. by using wedges of a sufficient size.
Secure the pillar and jib
arm to the loading areas using suitable lifting tackle.
Also secure individual
components such as the hoist, crates with accessories, etc. to the loading area
using suitable lifting tackle.
Secure all loose parts and
wiring.
If the pillar and the jib
arm have already been unpacked: cover the pillar and jib arm with film, and
secure with adhesive tape.
The pillar and jib arm are packed in shrink film ex-works.
