Depending on the crane design, a wire rope hoist is now installed and connected as a trolley, or a HF/EF trolley with a chain hoist, as in the previous section.
The wire rope hoist must be installed with the drives facing the left side of the jib arm (when viewed from the pillar).

Rotate the wire rope hoist
so that the drives are facing the left side of the jib arm.
Observe the occupational
health and safety requirements, and raise the wire rope hoist.
Working from the jib tip,
push the wire rope hoist onto the jib arm and put it on with the castors.

Screw the vertical square
tube and the plate onto the wire rope hoist using rib screws M8. 23 Nm.
Push the horizontal square
tube into the towing trolley.
Screw the horizontal
square tube onto the vertical square tube using a pipe clamp. 23 Nm.

Cross-type limit switch |
If necessary: install
additional C-rails for the switching lugs on the C-rail system.
Install the cross-type
limit switch on the wire rope hoist.
Guide the connection cable
from the cross-type limit switch into the wire rope hoist and connect it.
Push the switching lugs
into the C-rail and bolt them in place.
