Suspend a load on the load
hook which corresponds to the maximum load capacity of the crane.
Move the trolley to the
jib tip.
Slew the crane until the
jib arm has reached the maximum slewing speed.
Let go of the slewing
button.
● The friction clutch in the slewing gear brakes the jib arm.
The jib arm must come to a
standstill in the right position, and not present a hazard for any persons.
This will depend on the conditions in the building and the on-site hazard analysis.
If the jib arm brakes too
suddenly or too little, adjust the slewing gear. See Adjusting the slewing gear
overrun.
