Inspect the deflection roller
crosshead.
The drilled holes must not exhibit any cracking or other
damage.
Inspect the deflection roller.
It must not exhibit any deep
grooves or heavy wear.
If necessary, the deflection roller can be carefully inspected using a special template. Please contact ABUS Service for this. See ABUS Service.
Bolts and SL safety clips
must be in place and secured.
Check bearing bushes for damage. The bearing bushes must not exhibit
any cracking or other damage.
If components are missing or damaged: replace the components.

On the wire rope hoist with hoist drive GM 7000 and a reeving 4/1, the deflection roller crosshead is attached on the outside of the trolley frame.

Check the deflection roller crosshead suspension.
The suspension must be sufficiently lubricated so the deflection roller crosshead can move back and forth. See Deflection roller crosshead.
