Deflection roller

*   Inspect the deflection roller crosshead.
The drilled holes must not exhibit any cracking or other damage.

*   Inspect the deflection roller.
It must not exhibit any deep grooves or heavy wear.

If necessary, the deflection roller can be carefully inspected using a special template. Please contact ABUS Service for this. See ABUS Service.

*   Bolts and SL safety clips must be in place and secured.

*   Check bearing bushes for damage. The bearing bushes must not exhibit any cracking or other damage.

*   If components are missing or damaged: replace the components.

On the wire rope hoist with hoist drive GM 7000 and a reeving 4/1, the deflection roller crosshead is attached on the outside of the trolley frame.

 

*   Inspect the deflection roller crosshead.
The drilled holes must not exhibit any cracking or other damage.

*   Inspect the deflection roller.
It must not exhibit any deep grooves or heavy wear.

*   Check the deflection roller crosshead suspension.

The suspension must be sufficiently lubricated so the deflection roller crosshead can move back and forth. See Deflection roller crosshead.

*   Bolts and SL safety clips must be in place and secured.

*   If components are missing or damaged: replace the components.
