The following requirements must be met in order for the wire rope hoist to be installed:

Among other things, these points must be coordinated as part of the technical authorisation process:

─     The welded box girder or I-beam on which the wire rope hoist travels must meet the specifications of the enclosed dimension sheet and data sheet.

─     The installation dimensions as well as the mains voltage and operating voltage must be correspondingly checked against the dimension sheet and the data sheet.

─     The welded box girder or I-beam that the wire rope hoist travels on must have a straight lower flange or parallel flange.

─     The dimension between the flanges of the wheels is permitted to be maximally 2 mm larger on each side than the measured width of the bottom block.

─     The running surface that the wheels of the wire rope hoist travel on must be free of paint or other coatings.

─     The trolley power supply must be executed as ABUPowerline energy chain or ABUS festoon cable system.
