The tandem control system is used to control two cranes simultaneously, at the same travel speed and lifting speed and in the same direction (in all three crane axes crane travel, trolley travel, lift/lower), using only one remote control.

─     Tandem operation may only be used when a joint load (e.g. long object) is suspended by both cranes.

─     The tandem control system may only be used with two cranes on the same crane track.

─     The distance between the two cranes in tandem operation must not exceed 30 metres.

─     The tandem control system has only been designed for operation on two identical ABUS overhead travelling cranes.

─     The tandem control system is not possible with pendant control in this version.
