On the wire rope hoist, supporting wheels run under the upper flange.

The running surfaces of the supporting wheels become worn during operation. This reduces the diameter of the supporting wheels.

   Measure the diameter of the supporting wheels at multiple points over the width of the wheel.

   The diameter may not be smaller than is specified in the table.

If the diameter is smaller, the supporting wheels must be replaced. See Replacing the supporting wheels.
