Storing the HB system

If the HB crane installation is not installed immediately:

*  Leave the profile rail sections packaged during storage.

*  If the packaging of the wrapped profile rail sections has become wet: leave the profile rail sections in their packaging, but open the packaging so that moisture can escape.

*  Wipe off any rainwater.

*  Store unpainted metallic parts, chain hoists, electrical and electronic components in a dry, dust-free place.

Only with ceiling connection using dowel plate

If the anchor rods are not installed immediately:

*  Store injection mortar in the way specified on the dowel set packaging.

*  Clearly allocate the individual parts when storing them. The components must not be replaced with, or be combined with, individual parts for different cranes.

Inspection after lengthier storage

Should the HB crane installation be installed after it has been in storage for a lengthier period:

*  Perform a visual inspection of all components. They should be neither heavily soiled nor dusty.

*  For painted or coated components: check surfaces. The paint or coating should not be cracked or peeling.

*  Check the profile rail sections. The zinc layer should not be damaged or heavily scratched.

*  Inspect metallic parts. They should exhibit no rust.

*  Inspect electrical components. Live parts (e.g. bushes, pins and terminals) should not be oxidised (e.g. discoloured or roughened surface).
