Now the prepared crane track can be fitted to the already installed suspensions.
Depending on the length of the individual profile rail sections, the number of suspensions, the on-site building conditions and the length of the crane track, the crane track can be installed complete or in sections, and then connected up on the suspensions in a hanging position.
Dependent on this, the mains power supply can also be installed before or after the installation of the crane track.

The figures show the installation of a steel HB profile rail of size HB150S. The installation of larger or smaller HB profile rails or aluminium HB profile rails does not differ significantly from this. |
|
|
The figures show a short tension nut (short suspension XS and S). The installation with a long tension nut (short suspension M and L, normal suspension) is the same. |

This product manual describes the installation of the HB crane runway on an M16 suspension. To install the HB crane runway on an M20 suspension, see product manual "Installing the ceiling-mounted bracket 4LP/M20 and craneway suspension M20". |

During installation, do not press the tension nut under the threaded rod! If the tension nut is pressed forcefully under the threaded rod of the suspension, the rubber mounting in the profile link can be damaged. For this reason, raise the profile rail section as carefully as possible until the tension nut is just beneath the threaded rod. |

Tension nut |
The crane track must be secured against tilting and slipping.
Observe occupational health and safety requirements and lift the
crane track.
Raise the crane track with the tension nuts under the suspension.
Do not press the tension nuts into the threaded rod while doing this!

Profile connection |
|
Bring the tension nut exactly under the suspension.
Since the profile connection is not yet screwed tight, it can be shifted for precise alignment in the profile head. If necessary, the profile connection can also be tilted in the profile head.
Screw the suspension and profile connection together with the tension
nut.
The tension nut has a left-hand/right-hand thread. This enables the crane track to be pulled toward the suspension.
