The ceiling-mounted bracket 2LP/M16 is bolted onto an anchor bar made by the Halfen company, which has been firmly cast in the concrete element.
Only one 2LP/M16 ceiling-mounted bracket can be installed on a cast anchor rod on a ceiling connection. A 2LP/M20 or 4LP/M20 ceiling-mounted bracket cannot be installed.

The figures show the installation of a ceiling-mounted bracket 2LP/M16 or M20 with projecting threaded rod (with normal suspension, short suspension and normal stiffener). The installation of a ceiling-mounted bracket 2LP/M16 with bolted-on articulated girder (with normal stiffener, inclined suspension, inclined stiffener and V-suspension) does not differ significantly from this. |
When casting the concrete element:
|
|
Where and at what intervals the Halfen channels are cast is specified in the planning documents. |
The specified dimensions, positions and clearances must be followed exactly.
─ Only use anchor bars manufactured by the Halfen company that have been approved by building inspectors and are suitable for dynamic loads.
─ Follow the instructions of the manufacturer.
─ Only use parts of the Halfen channel system that are designed for one another.

Align the Halfen channel so that the
ceiling-mounted bracket will later be lengthwise exactly perpendicular to the
later-installed HB profile rail.
Position the Halfen channel so that
the ceiling-mounted bracket will later be exactly centred in relation to the
later-installed HB profile rail.
This is necessary so that the HB profile rail can later be aligned.
Take the Halfen channel into account
when planning the reinforcement and concrete covering.
On every ceiling-mounted bracket 2LP/M16:

Halfen channel |
|
|
| |
|
Halfen screw |
|
Insert the Halfen screws (2x) in the
Halfen channel while turning them.
Position the Halfen screws so that
they fit the hole spacing of the threaded plate.

Square washer |
|
| |
|
|
Halfen screw |
Insert square washers (2x) on the
Halfen screws.
The threaded plate must lie flat against the Halfen channel. It should not lie on the concrete around the Halfen channel. The square washer ensures that the threaded plate lies against the Halfen channel and does not strain the concrete.
Insert the threaded plate on the
Halfen screws.

This section only applies to the ceiling-mounted bracket 2LP/M16 with bolted-on articulated girder (with normal stiffener, inclined suspension, inclined stiffener and V-suspension)
On every ceiling-mounted bracket 2LP/M16 with articulated girder:
The articulated girders can be mounted lengthwise or crosswise to the ceiling-mounted bracket 4LP/M20 as appropriate for the alignment of the supporting structure.

Insert M16x35 rib screw through
articulated girder.
Insert articulated girder with rib
screw in ceiling-mounted bracket.
Screw the M16 rib nut loosely onto the
rib screw from the back.
Shift the articulated girder
lengthwise or crosswise to the ceiling-mounted bracket as necessary.
Screw the rib nut on. 300 Nm.
On every ceiling-mounted bracket 2LP/M16:

Ceiling-mounted bracket |
Rib screw M16x70 |
Hold the ceiling-mounted bracket (1x)
and the clamping plates (2x) against the threaded plate from below.
Loosely screw on the ceiling-mounted
bracket with the M16x70 rib screws (2x).
Position the ceiling-mounted bracket
so that it is exactly centred in relation to the later-installed HB profile
rail.
This is necessary so that the HB profile rail can later be aligned.
First, screw in M16x70 rib screws (2x)
until hand-tight.
The rib screws will later be tightened to the correct torque (after aligning the HB profile rail).
If final alignment of the ceiling-mounted bracket 2LP/M16 can now be done:
Screw in rib screws. 200 Nm.
