The hoist drive is provided as the drive unit on a single-rail trolley (types E, S and U) and double-rail trolley (types D, DA, DQA, Z and ZA).

The output shaft of the hoist drive is connected directly with the cable drum.

─     The hoist drive can be controlled in a pole-switchable manner with two different hoist speeds using ABUS electrics 3 or ABUControl, as well as continuously with a frequency converter in ABULiner or ABUControl.

─     The hoist drive can be used as a drive in other machines within its electrical and mechanical performance limits.

─     The hoist drive cannot be operated in a delta connection.
