If the hoist drive needs to be disposed of:
Dismantle the hoist drive
to the extent possible.
Observe local regulations
concerning disposal and recycling.
Dispose of the individual
parts sorted by material in an environmentally sound manner.
─ Dispose of metal parts as scrap metal.
The hoist motor stator is permanently shrunk into the housing. Cut the housing open to separate the stator from the housing.
─ Plastic parts should be recycled with plastic waste.
─ Dispose of brake linings as multiple components (hazardous waste).
─ Remove oil or grease from the hoist drive and dispose of as a lubricant.
─ Dispose of cables and plug-in connections as scrap electronic parts.
