Replacing the circuit board of the absolute rotary encoder

The absolute rotary encoder is connected to the hoist limit switch as a permanent unit and must always be jointly replaced with the hoist limit switch.

The circuit board of the absolute rotary encoder may not be disassembled from the gear limit switch and replaced separately.

After replacing the entire unit, the new absolute rotary encoder must be automatically or manually addressed and referenced. See the ABUControl product manual.
