For repairs or replacement, it may be necessary to disassemble the drive.

The pictures show the procedure on a GM 1000 modular wire rope hoist. The procedure on GM 800 does not differ significantly from this.

   Remove the plug-in connection in the connector housing on the drive.

   Remove the M6x16 rib screws (2x).

   Pull the complete drive backwards.

●   The drive is held by two cylindrical pins and will therefore not fall down straight away when it is pulled backwards.

   Place the drive on the two cylindrical pins.

   Turn the gear rim so that it engages in the coupling half under the cover.

   Push the drive in completely.

   Screw in the rib screws M6x16 (2x). 11 Nm.
