Danger from falling components! The crane can fall from the lorry and kill or injure people if it is not correctly loaded and secured. Crane transportation and load securing should only be carried out by trained persons. |
Observe the following points amongst others:
Secure the load according
to regional regulations.
Lay suitable blocks of
wood on the loading area beneath the main girders.
It is best to lay the blocks of wood beneath the main girders in the places they were laid before to avoid damage to the paint.
Secure the main girders to
the loading area with suitable lifting tackle.

Assembly cross brace |
Do not disassemble the
assembly cross brace between the A-frame and diagonal brace.
Leave the support
retaining element bolted onto the flange of the A-frame.
Set the portal support
against the support retaining element and secure it to the loading area with
suitable lifting tackle.
Secure all loose parts and
wiring.
Cover unpainted surfaces
and openings with film and secure with adhesive tape.
