Upper end carriage
For safe and easy assembly of the semi-goliath crane, the upper end carriage and the trolley must be secured.

Lay thick wooden beams
under the upper end carriage.
Otherwise the end carriage will tilt when lifted off the guide rollers by the crane. This would damage the bearings of the guide rollers.

Danger due to slipping of trolley! If the trolley is not secured it will slip down as soon as the main girder is raised on one side. As a result of this people can be injured. Secure the trolley! |

Danger due to transport fastener of trolley! The transport fastener (thin packaging strap) holding the trolley on the main girder (attached at the factory) is not stable enough to secure the trolley. Use a lashing strap or clamping buffer! |

Slide the trolley to the
outer end of the main girder.
Do the following: screw an
additional clamping buffer on the inner side in front of the trolley wheels.
Alternative: secure the
trolley with a lashing strap to the outer clamping buffer.
The transport fastener of the trolley does not adequately secure the trolley!
● The trolley is now secured and cannot slip down when the main girder is raised on one side.
