The signal lamps are installed at eye level on the two A-frames. They light up during crane travel and thus warn persons of the movement of the crane.
The connection cables for the signal lamp and light barriers of the obstacle detection sensor are pulled down through the A-frames from above by means of two draw wires. The connection cables for the light barriers and the signal lamp should be pulled simultaneously through the A-frame.

A-frame |
Lay connection cables for
light barriers (2x) and signal lamp (1x) from the main girder along the outer
cross head beam to the A-frame.
Secure the connection
cables to the cable fasteners under the outer cross head beam using cable
ties.
One of the two draw wires
leads to the bottom hole on the A-frame (hole directly on the lower end
carriage). Fasten the two connection cables for the two light barriers here.
The other of the two draw
wires leads to the centre hole on the A-frame (the hole which is at eye level in
the A-frame). Fasten the connection cable for the signal lamp here.

Crimp the wire end
ferrules to the connecting cable.
Screw the coupler plug to
the connection cable.
Connect the coupler plug
to the inner part of the signal lamp.
Insert the cover of the
signal lamp into the base and screw it tight.
The arrow on the cover and the marking on the base must align when attaching the signal lamp. The cover must snap into place when it is screwed on.
Note
To disassemble the signal lamp, hold down the push-button on the base and unscrew the cover.
