The danger zone is the area to the left and right next to the lower end carriage. No objects should be fixed or set down in this area.
|
Danger due to obstacles on the building floor! If the lower end carriage hits an obstacle during crane travel, the crane can be damaged and fall, causing injuries or deaths of the persons below. Define the danger zone on the building floor, observe it and check it before engaging in crane travel. |
The danger zone can be expanded beyond the specifications listed here through a risk evaluation specific to the end user. The danger zone may not, however, be reduced.
Minimum inner clearance |

|
Minimum outer clearance |
Determine the clearance to
the left and right next to the lower end carriage.
In the clearance space, no fixed objects may be present (e.g. workbenches, shelving, machines, ...) and no objects may be laid down (such as pallets, wire mesh crates, individual parts, ...) at any point along the entire traversing range.
─ Minimum inner clearance: 500 mm
─ Minimum outer clearance: 500 mm
If objects have been
installed or set down: remove them.
Mark out the danger zone,
if possible, on the floor of the building.
