Performance
features
The HB system:
─ The HB
system is a well-organised assortment of crane components whose modular
construction enables you to put together individual crane installations.
─ In order
to take all the characteristics of the building into account, every HB crane
installation is adapted to the specific application and calculated with
customer-specific parameters.
The HB profile
rails:
─ For the
crane girder, the sizes HB150, HB190 and HB240 are available.
─
Depending on the application case, the HB profile rails are each available as
extruded aluminium HB profile rails in the sizes HB150 and HB190 (indicated by A
in the product designation) or as one-piece cold-rolled steel HB profile rails
in the sizes HB150, HB190 and HB240 (indicated by S in the product
designation).
─ Thanks to a single-piece rolling process,
the steel HB profile rails have increased precision and an optimised travel gap
geometry that is comparable to aluminium HB profile rails. This noticeably
reduces the rolling resistance during manual movements.
─ The HB profile rails in the size HB240 have
crosswise screw fittings installed inside and rolled-in beading. This provides
the HB profile rails with an optimal weight for greater stiffness, which has a
favourable effect on the loads placed on the supporting structure while ensuring
easier travel on the crane girder.
─ The HB profile rails can be connected with
each other at any position using clamping plates. The positions of the
suspensions do not have to be considered. Extensions of HB profile rails are
possible without reconstruction on the existing HB crane installation. The
length of the individual profile rail sections can also be freely selected,
which can be useful in demanding installation situations.
─ The joining of the profile rail sections by
means of clamping plates (profile joint) requires only a precise saw cut, but no
welding or mechanical processing of any kind. This enables extensions or other
modifications of existing HB crane installations to be carried out with less
effort.
─ The
steel HB profile rails are galvanised and laminated at the sides as protection
against corrosion. This makes painting them unnecessary.
Electrical system of the
HB crane installation:
─ The
entire electrical system has a modular construction to enable easy expansion of
the HB crane installation.
─ The
electric connections of the HBF drives, the chain hoist and all other components
are of a plug-in type for fast assembly, replacement and reconstruction of the
HB crane installation.
─ For
conductor systems: in contrast to the festoon cable system there is no cable
marshalling point, which means the crane stop clearance and the trolley stop
clearance at the ends of the crane track are very limited. This also allows
transport of loads in the operating range boundaries of the HB crane
installation.
─ The crane can be equipped with a conductor system VKL
or KBH as the trolley power supply. In this case, there is no cable sag from the
festoon cable system.
─ The
crane track can be equipped with a conductor system KBH as the mains power
supply. In this case, there is no cable sag from the festoon cable system.
Single-girder crane EHB-I:
─ The crane does not need a separate crane
track, it can be moved directly on an existing I-beam (e.g. building supporting
structure).
─ This
means the crane is suitable for low buildings as well, since no additional
height is required under the hall ceiling for a crane track.
─ Depending on the supporting structure, the crane girder projects
more or less far over the crane track at the side. This allows the crane to be
used in areas such as directly against the building wall.
─ The HB150A and HB190A sizes with aluminium profile rails have an
especially low dead weight. This allows even easier moving of crane girders by
hand.
