Switching load limiting system on and off

Only with protected load limiting system

The crane features a load limiting system. This only enables the crane to lift with the maximum load capacity if the load limiting system is switched off. Otherwise (with the load limiting system switched on), only working with reduced maximum load capacity is enabled. 

The load limiting system is protected by a PIN or a key switch.

 

 

Operating the crane with load limiting system switched on:

    Either:

For load limiting system protected by PIN: When switching on or logging in the transmitter, enter the correct PIN for PIN level 0 or PIN level 1. See “”, page . See Entering the PIN.

Or:

For load limiting system protected by key switch: Use transmitter without actuating the key switch.

●   The load limiting system is switched on. The crane can now only lift with a reduced maximum load capacity.

	Symbol “Load limiting system is switched on”

●   A symbol (weight with closed padlock) is shown on the display to indicate the load limiting system is switched on.

 

 

Switching load limiting system off:

    Either:

For load limiting system protected by PIN: When switching on or logging in the transmitter, enter the correct PIN for PIN level 2 or PIN level 3. See “”, page . See Entering the PIN.

Or:

For load limiting system protected by key switch: Insert the key in the switch and turn it. See Operating additional functions on the crane using key switches.

●   The load limiting system is switched off. The crane can now lift with maximum load capacity.

●   A symbol (weight with opened padlock) is shown on the display to indicate the load limiting system is switched off.

 

 

Switching load limiting system on:

    Either:

For load limiting system protected by PIN: Log out or switch off the transmitter, or press the stop button.

If the transmitter is not logged out or switched off, the load limiting system is automatically switched on after elapse of the standby time.

Or:

For load limiting system protected by key switch: Turn the key switch and pull it out.

●   The load limiting system is switched on. The crane can now only lift with a reduced maximum load capacity.

●   At the next use of the transmitter without input of a correct PIN for PIN level 2 or 3: A symbol (weight with closed padlock) is shown on the display to indicate the load limiting system is switched on.
