The ABULiner Lifting/Lowering unit is designed for operation in an ABUS crane installation. It is used for the continuous control of a crane’s lifting speed. In addition to the crane connected according to the wiring diagram, a control unit, an encoder and an LIS-SV with appropriately set parameters are also required for operation.

─     Do not use the ABULiner Lifting/Lowering unit for control of the travel speed of the travel motors. Different parameters and circuitry are required for this.

─     The ABULiner Lifting/Lowering unit is only to be used with the ABUS-specific factory settings.

─     The settings on the ABULiner frequency converter must not be changed. The settings must also not be changed if the frequency converter is equipped with a display or a diagnostic device/control unit.

─     A separate ABULiner Lifting/Lowering unit is required for each crane.

─     Changes to the parameters of the frequency converter may only by performed by persons trained by ABUS using the specially designed PC software.

─     Only use the ABULiner Lifting/Lower unit on an ABUS crane. Do not connect any products from other manufacturers.
