Transferring the customer-specific configuration to the PLC or to SD card [2]

When the crane is started, a check is made whether the crane serial number on the SD card matches that in the flash memory of the PLC.

If the crane serial number does not match (e.g. because the SD card of a different crane was inserted), the customer-specific configuration can be transferred from the SD card to the PLC nor from the PLC to the SD card.

Log in as user "Abnahme" (commissioning) (user level [2]) in KranOS. See Connecting laptop or tablet computer with ABUControl, page .

In the start window: Click on the "PLC diagnosis" menu item in the "Settings" menu (gear wheel on yellow background).

● The "PLC diagnosis" window appears.

Click on the "PLC SD card" menu item in the "Settings" menu (gear wheel on yellow background).

Transferring the customer-specific configuration

If this function is used to transfer an erroneous customer-specific configuration into the PLC, the crane may react incorrectly or unpredictably.This could result in dangerous situations where people can be killed or injured. After changing the configuration, check all safety functions.


	"Handling SD card" selection field

● The "PLC SD card" window appears.

Select the value "Overwrite SD card with data from PLC" or "Overwrite PLC with data from SD card" in the selection field.

Click on the "Write PLC" button.

● The customer-specific configuration is transferred from the PLC to the SD card or from the SD card to the PLC.


	Message "Saving data. Please wait."

● The message "Saving data. Please wait." is displayed.

● The crane control restarts automatically and runs through the sequence for starting ABUControl. See Procedure when starting ABUControl, page .
