Different movement profiles can be selected for the movements of all three crane axes (crane travel, trolley travel, lift/lower). The basic motion behaviour can be defined through this.
For this work step, access from a laptop or tablet computer to KranOS is necessary. The user "Abnahme" (commissioning) (user level ‚[2]) or "Service" (user level [1]) must be logged in.
Overview: Navigation in KranOS |
User "Service" or "Abnahme" (commissioning) à "Movement profile" |
Log in to KranOS with user "Service" (user level [1]) or "Abnahme" (commissioning) (user level [2]). See Connecting laptop or tablet computer with ABUControl, page .
In the start window: Click on the "Movement profile" menu item in the "Settings" menu (gear wheel on yellow background).

● The "Movement profile" window appears.
● The current settings are displayed.
Select the desired movement profile in the crane axis:
─ Step-less: The drive can be accelerated into the second level up to a maximum value with a two-step button or joystick as long as the button is held down. If the button or joystick switches back into the first level, the drive maintains the current speed. If the button or joystick is let go of the speed is reduced.
─ Two-step: The drive can be accelerated to a permanently set slow travel speed in the first level and to a permanently set fast travel speed in the second level with a two-step button or joystick.
─ Linear analogue value: The drive can be continuously accelerated and braked with a proportional joystick. The further the joystick is activated, the faster the drive rotates. The relationship between the joystick and drive is linear.
─ Analogue value S curve: As before. The relationship between the joystick and drive is in the form of an S curve. This means that relatively a lot of motion is necessary on the joystick in the range around the zero point of the joystick (drive stationary), and relatively less on the upper and lower stop points of the joystick. Thus the crane can be very precisely controlled, particularly during slower movements.
Click on the "Write PLC" button.
