ABUControl determines numerous operating data in ongoing operation and displays an overview of these. The operating data, especially the operating hours counter and load population recorder, are important for regular inspection.
For this work step, access from a laptop or tablet computer to KranOS is necessary. The user "Service" (user level ‚[1]) or "Abnahme" (commissioning) (user level [2]) must be logged in. However, access is also possible without login (user level [0]).
Without login:
Establish WLAN connection.
Open KranOS in the browser. See Connecting laptop or tablet computer with ABUControl, page .
● The "Operating data" window appears.
For the logged in user:
In the start window: Click on the "Operating data" menu item in the "Settings" menu (gear wheel on yellow background).
● The window with the operating data appears.
"Operating hours" field |
"Reversing motions" field |
"Motions" field |
"Inching counter" field |
Read the corresponding value from the line for the desired crane axis.
─ "Operating hours": time that the drive or drives of the respective crane axis were in motion.
─ "Motions": Number of motions of the respective crane axis. In each case, a motion is counted if the corresponding drive accelerates from a standstill.
─ "Inching counter": Number of short motions. The number is increased by one when the corresponding drive accelerates from a standstill and runs only for up to 2 seconds. At the same time, the "Motions" description field increases by one.
─ "Reversing motions": Number of reverse motions. The number is increased by one when the corresponding drive accelerates from a given motion direction directly into the opposite direction within 2 seconds. At the same time, the "Motions" description field increases by one.
"Consumed value" field |
"Overload counter" field |
"Nominal value" field |
|
─ "Consumed value": calculated full-load hours of the hoist.
─ "Nominal value": maximum permitted full-load hours of the hoist.
─ "Overload counter": Number of lifting motions with overload. The number always increases by 1 if the hoist lifts a load that is over the maximum load capacity of the crane. At the same time, the "Motions" description field also increases by 1.
For further information about the evaluation of the remaining service life: See "General product manual for ABUS cranes".
Note:
─ The displayed values are updated as the "Operating data" window is displayed. Thus you can observe in which operating situation the displayed values are increased.
─ The values are saved in ABUControl. If the PLC is replaced, the values must be manually transferred.
