On the SD card, in addition to the customer-specific configuration that was compared against that in the flash memory of the PLC upon starting the crane, a separate backup of the customer-specific configuration can be created.
With this function, the current customer-specific crane configuration is saved and stored as a separate backup on the SD card. This backup remains on the SD card until a new backup is carried out. The new backup overwrites the previous backup.
This means that a certain configuration status (e.g. directly after the test before the first commissioning) is saved. This can be restored later (e.g. after unsupervised changes).
For this work step, access from a laptop or tablet computer to KranOS is necessary. The user "Abnahme" (commissioning) (user level [2]) must be logged in.

In the start window: Click on the "PLC diagnosis" menu item in the "Settings" menu (gear wheel on yellow background).
● The "PLC diagnosis" window appears.
Click on the "PLC SD card" menu item in the "Settings" menu (gear wheel on yellow background).

Select the value "Create recovery files" or "Read back recovery files" in the selection field.
Click on the "Write PLC" button.
● The configuration is copied from the SD card or PLC depending on the setting.
Note:
The values "Create recovery files" or "Read back recovery files" only appear in the selection field if the crane control was fully started without any errors.
