Enabling sway control for multiple trolleys [2]

The sway control initially functions only with a single hoist or on a crane with several trolleys in individual control, providing the unused trolley is in parking position.
During the joint operation of several trolleys or in tandem operation, the sway control must be separately enabled. In addition, the ABURemote radio remote control must be specially configured for this as well as the cranes and trolleys which are of the same type.

For this work step, access from a laptop or tablet computer to KranOS is necessary. The user "Abnahme" (commissioning) (user level ‚[2]) must be logged in.

Enabling sway control for a single trolley or for multiple trolleys

"Sway control available" selection field

●   The "Sway control parameter" window appears.

* Enabling sway control:

─     "Only for single trolley": The sway control can only be activated for a single hoist or for a crane with several trolleys in individual control, providing the unused trolley is in parking position.

─     "Single and multiple trolleys (joint operation)": The sway control can be activated for a single hoist, for a crane with several trolleys in individual control or in joint operation, and for two cranes in tandem operation.

In addition, the ABURemote radio remote control must be specially configured for this as well as the cranes and trolleys which are of the same type.

The collective load must be attached such that the centres of gravity of the loads are the same on both hoists, meaning the hook position and the length of the lifting tackle give the same overall length when added together.
