Displaying the CAN bus diagnosis [1] [2]

It can be helpful to see which CAN bus devices are recognised in the CAN bus network for analysing faults or in conversation with ABUS Service.

For this work step, access from a laptop or tablet computer to KranOS is necessary. The user "Abnahme" (commissioning) (user level ‚[2]) or "Service" (user level [1]) must be logged in.

Not recognised or not available CAN Bus device

●   The "CAN bus diagnosis" window appears.

●   All CAN Bus devices that were found in the CAN bus network are displayed with a green background.

●   All other CAN Bus devices that ABUControl recognises but are not found in the CAN Bus network are displayed with a black background.

In principle, all CAN Bus devices that could appear on a crane with ABUControl are displayed.

Therefore, both the devices that are generally not available on the current crane, and the ones that are available but do not function correctly due to a fault, are displayed with a black background.

The crane wiring diagram specifies which CAN Bus devices are available on the crane.
