Displaying parameters for maximum acceptable wear and data of the rope drive [2]

For this work step, access from a laptop or tablet computer to KranOS is necessary. The user "Abnahme" (commissioning) (user level ‚[2]) must be logged in.

 

Calling up "Maximum acceptable wear parameter"

From program version 1.2.0.1

 

* Log in as user "Abnahme" (commissioning) (user level [2]) in KranOS. See Connecting laptop or tablet computer with ABUControl, page  .

* Select the desired hoist (e.g. Hoist 1) in the main menu.

●   The window for the requested hoist appears.

* Click on the "Hoist profile parameter" menu item in the "Settings" menu (gear wheel on yellow background).

●   The "Hoist profile parameter" window appears.

* Click on the "Maximum acceptable wear parameter" menu item in the "Settings" menu (gear wheel on yellow background).

 

 

●   The window "Maximum acceptable wear parameter" appears.

* Read off the desired parameters:

─     "Number of falls": Number of falls of the wire rope running between the bottom block and the trolley frame.

─     "Wire rope for cable drum":

1: One rope end is wound onto the cable drum, the other rope end is fastened to the fixed point.

2: Both rope ends are wound onto the cable drum (wire rope hoist with true vertical lift hoist, reeving D4/2)

─     "No. of cable drums": Number of cable drums per wire rope hoist

1: Wire rope hoist for single girder travelling cranes (type E, S, U) or for double girder travelling cranes (type D, DA, DQA)

2: Twin hoist (type Z, ZA)

─     "Wire rope nominal diameter": Diameter of the wire rope on the cable drum

─     "Nominal diameter of rope coil": Diameter of a single revolution (= turn) of the wire rope on the cable drum (cable drum diameter + wire rope diameter)

─     "Diameter of upper deflection roller": Diameter of the upper deflection roller + wire rope diameter

─     "Diameter of bottom deflection roller": Diameter of the bottom deflection roller + wire rope diameter

─     "Cable drum axis to bottom block": Distance between the axis of the cable drum and the axis of the deflection roller(s) of the bottom block

─     "Fixed point to upper deflection roller": Distance from the fixed point to the axis of the upper deflection roller

─     "Cable drum to upper deflection roller": Distance from the axis of the cable drum to the axis of the upper deflection roller.

─     "Wire rope identifier": ABUS wire rope identifier (A100=100, A101=101, A102=102, A103=103, A104=104, A105=105, A106=106)

─     "Rope correction summand": internal value for the calculation

─     "Rope correction factor": internal value for the calculation

─     "Rope correction summand offset": internal value for the calculation

─     "Rope correction factor offset": internal value for the calculation

─     "Efficiency of rope drive": internal value for the calculation

─     "Wire length": length of the entire wire rope

─     "Nominal wire strength": strength of the wire rope

─     "Rope factors": internal values for calculation
