The ABURemote transmitter and receiver must be set to the same address so that they can communicate with each other.
For a crane with tandem operation, the address of the ABURemote receiver of the partner crane must be saved in ABUControl (in the PLC and in the ABURemote receiver). This is necessary so that the ABURemote transmitter can log in to the crane and the partner crane for tandem operation.
Depending on the tandem control, the crane will have either one or two partner cranes for which the receiver address must be stored.

If the receiver address of the partner crane changes, for example because the ABURemote receiver on the partner crane was replaced or a tandem control system is retrofitted, the saved address must again be determined and processed.
This work step must also be repeated on the partner crane, in which case the previously shown perspective likewise applies (crane is "B", partner crane is "A" or "C").
For this work step, access from a laptop or tablet computer to KranOS is necessary. The user "Abnahme" (commissioning) (user level [2]) or "Service" (user level [1]) must be logged in.

Log in to KranOS with user "Service" (user level ‚[1]) or "Abnahme" (commissioning) (user level [2]). See Connecting laptop or tablet computer with ABUControl, page .
In the start window: Click on the "Movement profile" menu item in the "Settings" menu (gear wheel on yellow background).
Currently saved receiver address from partner crane |

Newly detected receiver address from partner crane |
|
● The "Movement profile" window appears.
● The upper line shows which receiver address from the partner crane is currently saved.
Click on the "Read PLC" button.
● ABUControl connects with the partner crane per radio data transmission module and determines the address of the ABURemote receiver.
● The bottom line shows the determined address of the partner crane.
● If the currently saved address of the partner crane (upper line) and the newly determined address of the partner crane (bottom line) are different, the newly determined address is saved in the PLC.
● The tandem control system is then temporarily deactivated. The cranes can now only be operated independently of one another.
Switch off the crane at the circuit isolator or mains switch.
Wait 60 seconds.
Switch the crane on again.
● ABUControl will restart.
● In addition, the newly determined address of the partner crane is processed and transferred into the ABURemote receiver.
● The tandem control system is ready for operation again and can be used.
