For testing, a static test with 1.25 times the maximum load capacity of the crane and a dynamic test with 1.1 times the maximum load capacity of the crane must be carried out before the first commissioning.
The overload protection of the crane must also be bridged.

Danger due to bridged overload protection. If the overload protection is bridged, the hoist does not stop if a load which is too heavy is lifted. This can lead to the crane falling and killing or injuring people. Bridging of the overload protection may only be conducted by qualified persons. |
If a load weighing more than 110% of the maximum load capacity is lifted:
● The overload protection of the crane triggers.
● The load cannot be lifted any further.
● The load hook can only be lowered.
If the overload protection is bridged after having been triggered at a load more than 110%:
● The load can now be lifted further.
● If the load reduces to under 100% of the maximum load capacity, the load can again be directly lifted and lowered without bridging the overload protection.
If a load weighing more than 130% of the maximum load capacity is lifted:
● The overload protection of the crane triggers.
● The load cannot be lifted any further.
● The load cannot be lowered any further.
● The load can be safely held, but might not be able to be safely stopped when lowering.
If the overload protection is bridged after having been triggered at a load more than 130%:
● The load can now be lowered.

Open trolley control.
Search for prong terminal block -X103.
Connect the double-pole coupling with jumper
into the prong terminal block.
A suitable coupling with jumper can be found in the documentation folder/test log book of the crane.
● The overload protection is now bridged.
With LED matrix display: The message "F0021: Overload protection bridged" is shown.
● After 45 minutes: The overload protection is automatically switched on again.
With LED matrix display: The message "F0022: Overload protection bridged: Time exceeded" is shown.
If the overload protection is to be bridged again, the coupling must first be removed and then plugged in again.
If the coupling has a jumper inserted and ABUControl is restarted, the overload protection is not automatically bridged. Instead, the message "F0023:Overload protection: remove bridging" is displayed.
The overload protection is only bridged if the coupling is inserted with a jumper with the crane switched on.

Remove the coupling from the prong terminal
block-X103.
or
Click the button "Bridge hoist Overload protection".
● The overload protection is switched on again.
● The button's background is no longer red.
Press the emergency stop button and unlock
again.
or
Press the horn.
● The fault message is thus activated on ABUControl.
